We’ve been field testing a variety of different batteries to power our portable wi-fi network. One of the more promising setups is the Voltaic V60 battery with a solar panel. Over a week of use on the slopes with the snowboard team in New Zealand, the solar panel kept the battery fully charged. Pretty good for more than week of +6 hour days at temperatures from 20 to 40 degrees fahrenheit.
