US freeski team uses Reveal at XGames Aspen

This past week we’ve been at the X Games in Aspen with a couple of our ski and snowboard customers competing in boarder cross, slope style, and half pipe. X Games was a great opportunity to see how athletes and coaches are using Reveal and to put some of our newest features to the test before everyone leaves for the Sochi Winter Olympics.

Some of the new features we rolled out at the X Games include:

  1. Updated user interface to make Reveal easier to use in bright outdoor environments.
  2. Improved athlete tagging interface.
  3. Enhanced clip filter and bulk clip export.
  4. Import clips from smartphones, tablets, and SD cards.
  5. Capture video directly from smartphones and tablets.

Giving Reveal users the ability to shoot and capture video directly from smartphones and tablets is exciting.  This feature allows any user to easily capture and upload a clip to Reveal and have it become instantly available to other coaches and athletes across the venue.

The video below was shot with an iPhone from the start. It’s Nick Goepper warming up for slope style final.
